218/366: Banton Loch

This morning’s run was a 10 mile “hair of the dog” after last night’s speedwork at The Lab. I stuck to trails and towpaths to help the stiff legs with a lighter impact. The highlight was running alongside beautiful Banton Loch. It’s a small reservoir and is fed from the River Kelvin. The trails from Banton to the Colzium and are quiet and lovely. The Battle of Kilsyth is celebrated here also. If you are ever running out this, I recommend getting down here. It may only be a mile or so but it is braw.
