32/366: We are at H already?

Storm Henry is moving menacingly west to east and this picture from the Forth rail bridge looking west shows a sky with dark abandon a-coming. The road bridges (old and soon to be new) will be enveloped in lashing wind and rain over the next few hours and it’s almost certain traffic will be restricted on it.

This is the first year of naming storms in the UK and whilst some find it annoying, it’s a really handy reference point for how many horrendous weather days we’ve had since winter started. H means we are up to 8 already…

  1. So this was Henry blowing me off pace? I didn’t know they are given names now – and Ireland and UK seems to share them, learned something! Thanks for sharing this 😀
