24/366: Walton Hill

After an amazing gig last night, a short recovery run today took me from Croy to Abronhill to pick up the kids. The route along the canal is fairly gentle until the climb from Castlecary to Abronhill via Walton Hill. The clouds in the background skirting atop the Campsies show the kind of day it is.

Looks like today was the last wearing for my old Hoka Challenger ATRs. They’ve served me well including two-days over the WHW and about 80 miles at Glenmore 24. Rest in peace. Just as well I have bought new ones!
